Professor Isabelle Jalbert has received national and institutional teaching awards and is internationally acknowledged as a leader in optometric education. At UNSW Sydney she heads a program of research and education focused on improving the access and quality of evidence-based eyecare in Australia and internationally. Professor Jalbert is a June Griffith Fellow, a member of the Board of Directors of the Optometry Council of Australia and New Zealand and Deputy President of the Optometry Council of New South Wales.
